What are SRL Lanyards
SRL lanyards are self-retracting lifelines (SRLs), also known as self-retracting lanyards, are connecting devices, which are a necessary component of a Personal Fall Arrest System (PFAS). When used as a complete overhead personal fall arrest system, a SRL decelerates a fall within an allotted maximum distance, which varies depending on the class of SRL.
Rigid Lifelines® selection of self-retracting lifelines feature lightweight high-impact resistant polymer or durable aluminum casing with galvanized cable in lengths between 20 and 50 feet. All units are compatible with any Rigid Lifelines® overhead fall protection system and include a load-indicating swivel locking snap hook for attaching to the harness’s dorsal D-Ring, installation carabiner on top, and tagline.
