Manually Operated Applications: This model is suggested where simplicity of operation, economy of purchase and no maintenance are of prime consideration. All maneuvers are performed by hand. Simple, compact mechanical balances make all movements easy.

Folding Down: Release automatic latching device. Push on top of gangway as handle on pull chain assembly is used to lower gangway. Built-in stops keep gangway at horizontal.

Leveling Up or Down: Balance mechanism in center column balances gangway at the midrange of the level height adjustment (level with the loading rack platform). Stepping on gangway (additional weight) levels it down. Pulling up on stud handle on the rear handrail post levels it above loading rack walkway.

Pivoting: With column unlocked, gangway will easily pivot to the correct angle by pulling or pushing on either of the rear handrail posts. Column lock mechanism locks both pivot and height in place by pushing down on handle when desired position is reached.

Extending: Extension operates easily on Delrin (non corrosive) rollers by pushing or pulling on the extension arm that is attached to and locks to the rear handrail posts. Engaging the extension lock holds the extension arm to rear handrail post and extendible platform cannot move.

Folding Back: With extendible platform retracted and extension lock disengaged, gangway folds back easily with a pull on the handle on the pull chain. Extension arm goes to vertical as gangway folds back.
